In 1924, Parker Brothers copyrighted and introduced Hickety Pickety as "A NEW GAME", printed as such in the center of the game box and playing board. The towns listed in the Parker Brothers logo included London. Later versions of the game said simply "A GAME". The word NEW was elimintated and the remaining text was not realigned. London was replaced by Chicago. The NEW version had plain edges on the game box, later versions added Hickety Pickety designs around the edge. The box top did not completely cover the sides of the box bottom. Later versions, the box top completely covered the sides.
