Shown here is a set of 5 different denominations of scrip money for the Pontiac Safety Drive Game, given out by Pontiac dealers to announce the coming of two new Pontiacs for 1938. Made by R. L. Polk and Company in 1937.

About the same size as early Monopoly money, and seems to have the same colors as some of the Monopoly money made in the mid-1930's.

The game was packaged in an 8" x 11" brown envelope. The back of the envelope has the rules of the game. A colorful game board was also included, portraying a street map with traffic signals, objectives, and obstacles.

The game board measures 21" x 22" and was folded up in the envelope. Game markers are little cardboard cars. Game cards marked OBJECTIVE, CHANCE, and SENTENCE issued awards, fines, and warnings.
