The photos below detail an early Parker Brothers SORRY game from 1934.
The U.S. patent 1903661 that appears on the board and in the instruction booklet was filed on Aug 4, 1930 by William Henry Storey from Southend-On-Sea, England. The patent was issued April 11, 1933. The instructions also mention a 1934 Parker Brothers copyright.
The game box measures 5" x 4 1/8" x 1 1/4". The board is 17 3/4" x 17 3/4" and the board label measures 8 3/8" x 6 7/8".

~The Play Cards~
There are 11 different play cards. There are 5 - 1 cards and 4 of each of the rest. The instructions state that you can play with either 4 or 5 of the 1 cards. The game goes a little faster if you play with all 5 of them as it allows a player to place a man into play on the board.
